Developed Thumbnails for Despina, Ersilia and Isaura: Any opinions on which city I should take further?

Now that I've finished my initial thumbnailing I made a page of my favourite thumbnails even if I didn't choose that city I could still take them into consideration if they applied to the city I chose.

I chose 3 cites and developed my ideas for them.

For Despina I imagined a city hidden in the desert sat on top of water. 1, 2 and 3 are supposed to be a birds eye view of the city though I wasn't sure how to shade it though that's something I could work on. I think the buildings would be stone or metal. You can find my original thumbnails here.

For Ersilia I imagined a city hidden behind mountains as seen in 1, 2 and 3. I'm thinking that the buildings are either wooden or stone. In 6 I came up with a possibility that the strings in the city are attached from a pole on peoples houses. I really like the colouring on 3, I could use this technique in the future. You can find my original thumbnail page here.

For Isaura I created a city ontop of water, it uses that water as a resource by collecting it from below. 1, 2 and 3 give you a basic idea though I'm now heading more towards the idea of 5 where the water flows off the edges of the city into the water below and this ties in nicely with the idea of 6 where the water runs through the city and into lavish fountains. The buildings are very citylike so I'd to develop ideas further to make to more interesting. Originally 3 was white though I changed it because I'd like the buildings to be made from stone and marble and influenced by Italian architecture. You can find my original thumbnail page here

  4. I really enjoy the textures and tones created in Ersilia. Isaura also has a lot of potential, structure wise, you could develop it so that its recognised as a city, but it doesn't appear like your regular average city :) keep up the good work! I look forward to seeing what you create!
