Major Project: Exploring Colour
To tie my characters into their universe, I've tried to pick similar colour swatches by changing the hue on coolors.
I have a few colours to choose from, though I'm using the farmost right colours in my experiment below.
I used Starfish Cheerleader for this. I feel like it would be easier to help pick colours when having more of the characters together, however so far I do like 4, 5 and 6.

Fantastic Voyage: Environment - White space compositions
1
2
3
4
Because my environment is a white space there isn't an awful lot I can do with it but I wanted to test if some shading could make it more interesting. I think 1 could be pretty interesting on the jam jar screen as it makes the Jam Jars stand out slightly more. Otherwise It would be white pretty much all the way through.
Fantastic Voyage: Title screen colour compositions
Not 100% sure about the font but I'm thinking the blue or green screen? Then the title would transform into the 'white space' and jam jars as shown in my storyboard. I'm also debating about having the Jam Jars there to start with or not? It might look better to reveal the jam jars much like in my storyboard and it would save me zooming in on the sign!

What If Metropolis: Colour comps
Following Phil's advice I changed around the composition of number 7 from my last page. I made the clock less central and made the rock at the front smaller. I also wanted to test which colours derived from Ernst's work would fit best for my city.
Composition wise I like 1 best. I feel like keeping most of the middle third empty gives a feeling of absence to my city much like some of Ernst's paintings. I also like the colour of 1 best though I could possibly add some red and orange to help balance out how green it is.

Invisible cities: Colour scheme and Composition
After creating the last colour comp I felt like the green wasn't really working in my city and instead tried to make a new palette. I've gone for a mix of Blue, Yellow and Red though I may add some subtle orange tones to help balance the blue out.
I changed the colours of my previous colour comp and they seem to fit a little better this time though obviously it still need refining.
I took that colour comp, sketched ontop of it roughly and started adding perspective, I think it's looking okay so far though I might scale the buildings down a little.
I also made an interior colour comp, 3 is my favourite though I need to add more to it.

Invisible cities: Exterior Colour Composition
Here are some colour compositions for my establishing shot. I'm hoping to take one of these designs to refine and make into my final piece though I'm kind of stuck. I quite like 3 and 4. Once I've picked one I'll make a better sketch and define the buildings more and add more suitable colours to certain parts.
