After speaking with Phil I took onboard his advice about using more of the white space. Hopefully this is more effective than my first draft on the Armadillo.

Minor Project: Turnarounds and Orthographs
I'd already worked on the Deer turnaround however now I have a complete set and will be able to start modelling them in Maya.
As I explained in an earlier post the grey area is the suggest of a low resolution model I will create in order to then achieve the "wire sculpture" ontop. It is quite likely that as I tackle these drawings into translations that they may appear different in Maya compared to the turnaround drawings I have here.

Minor Project: Deer Character with Turnaround
Knowing my workflow for when it comes to modelling I was able to determine what kind of orthograph I would need to model from. I've opted to use two image planes for each view, one to detremine the shape needed underneath and the other to tell where to place curves to create the wire like sculpture. I've stayed as close to the original drawing as possible and also drew a little to help solidify the deers character.
Orthographs
I can imagine that the designs here will change slightly because as I am translating I will make the best decision for my model and I believe some trial and error will be involved.
