CAA Speedpaint Challenge: The Masque of the Red Death

Today I finally had the time to participate in the speed paint challenge, so my first painting is for Edgar Allen Poe's "The Masque of the Red Death". With plague and death being a part of the novel I decided on making a gritty looking cover.
